Knit to Resist is a fall/winter women’s knitwear collection that blends hand-crafted processes of embroidery,
knitting, and quilting to spark conversations on feminine empowerment. Garments, therefore, reflect comfort, expression, and protest, with details of ruffles, bows, and florals to enhance femininity. Sustainably sourced fibers like organic hemp, cotton, and Tencel Lyocell, paired with bamboo, recycled wool, and brushed mohair, ensure responsible production. Drawing inspiration from the Lesbian Feminist Movement, women’s reproductive rights, and traditionally hand-crafted practices, this collection incorporates protest patches and knit-in statements like “riot girl” and “fight like a woman.” Designed for a young, fashion-conscious, urban consumer, this collection speaks to those who value individuality, activism, and artisanal craftsmanship.
